Summary/Objective Besa Lighting is actively searching for a Customer Service Representative for our growing business.
The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company's customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

Communicates directly with customers as needed via phone or email regarding questions, concerns, technical issues, etc.
Performs informal and formal needs assessments for each customer to recommend appropriate goods and services Develops a rapport with customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner to put them at ease Becomes adept with current information about services and products available for customers Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures, taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishes entry priorities Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolves discrepancies or shortages by using standard procedures Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information Reviews and verifies data entered into database to ensure accuracy Anticipates the needs of clients and addresses them accordingly Competencies Customer/client focus Problem solving and analysis Time management Written and verbal communication skills Multi-tasking abilities Communication proficiency Teamwork orientation Technical capacity Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment This job operates in an office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
